The SQL Data Analyst Will Be Responsible For


  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards to serve as entry-point to key human capital and workforce optimization metrics for department and HR leaders.
  • Developing, coordinating and conducting operational analyses related to total time evaluation, labor costs and related workforce analytics.
  • Generating and standardizing workforce optimization and human capital analytics across the enterprise.
  • Support integration of key system datasets for seamless and consistent reporting of key workforce data.
  • Provide seamless linkage to workforce data including productivity, budgeting, scheduling, and people data to support integrated reporting.
  • Maintain, enhance & support deployment of analytics tools over the long-term that support enterprise data needs.
  • Interpret data trends and statistical variances to inform enterprise perspective on workforce changes.
  • Assist with presentation of reports, gathering qualitative data from leaders, and providing recommendations.
  • Create, review, and distribute regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports to leaders, ensuring data integrity and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with department leaders to determine areas of opportunity based upon outputs of workforce system modules.
  • Create and maintain staffing projection models to inform ongoing hiring needs.
  • Generate staffing requirements and work schedules that meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Continually review the reporting processes to ensure efficient delivery of data


To Qualify, You Must Have


  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in workforce management, workforce planning or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL others for relational databases.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL/Hadoop oriented databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, others for nonrelational databases.
  • Experience with data management tools such as Visual Studio, SSMS, Boomi, DBEAVER, Power BI, Tableau, Micro Strategies.
  • Experience with Visier preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role in a hospital or healthcare enterprise strongly preferred.
  • Experience with UKG/Kronos-Dimensions strongly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in utilizing data to build dashboards, identify key trends and drive analysis is required.
  • Ability to build and manage predictive models that proactively inform action planning is required.
  • Knowledge of workforce management processes and metrics, staff scheduling, and staffing processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and levels.
  • Ability to effectively communicate outputs of data analysis and provide insights to a broad audience (i.e., senior executives, department managers, peer analysts)
