As a Data Scientist Insights, you will be responsible for supporting the Forecasting team and wider Customer Service function to better understand changes in customer behaviour and what drives these changes. Your output will be used to support the decision making process in order to adapt forecasting and business planning methodologies to better service our customers and partners. Alongside this you will be working with Machine Learning Scientists, developing a deep understanding of the input data to our forecasting pipeline and how changes to this data can influence the output of the forecasting models.
We work on key projects and initiatives to drive efficiency within the CS department. We work closely with teams from across the wider business to understand what impact their work will have on service delivery and work alongside them to mitigate risks. We are looking for a Data Scientist Insights who can support this process by delivering actionable insights into the ever changing landscape of Customer Service through in depth analyses on complex data problems.

B.SKILLED
- Master degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or similar)
- Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques and with statistical rigor
- Strong technical skills regarding data analysis, statistics, machine learning and programming.
- Strong working knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Python and/or R.
