Job Summary


Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support the company's mission of promoting clean energy adoption in the UK. The role involves using software to collect and analyze data on solar energy usage by homeowners, businesses and local communities. The Data Analyst is expected to be skilled in data analysis techniques and be able to effectively communicate insights to support decision-making and drive the company's initiatives towards a sustainable future.


D U T I E S


Collect and analyze large amounts of data from various sources, including energy usage patterns and trends, customer feedback, and market trends, to inform product development and decision-making.


Design and implement data analytics models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of their energy monitoring and generation capabilities.


Work closely with the software development team to ensure the implementation of data analytics models into their platform.


Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of energy monitoring and generation systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.


Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights performance and customer usage patterns.


Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop data-driven marketing and sales strategies, and to track and analyze campaign performance.


Participate in product design and development initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance the user experience and improve overall product performance.


Stay current with the latest developments in data analytics and energy technology, and provide recommendations for incorporating new techniques and tools into their operations.


Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on the use of data analytics tools and models.


Strong technical skills in data analysis and statistical programming languages, such as Python, R or SQL.


Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI or QlikView, to present data insights in an effective manner.


Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand complex data sets and identify patterns, trends and correlations.


Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non[1]technical stakeholders.


Understanding of renewable energy and the UK energy market, including the role of solar energy in the transition to clean energy.


Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to energy data, including data privacy and security.


Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to support data-driven decision making.


Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, to effectively manage data analysis projects.


Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new technologies and trends in the energy and data analytics space.

A Degree in Computer Science . Experience in the Solar Sector
