You will be responsible to:
• Enable your stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by surfacing critical data from many different
sources in the self-service analytics platforms
• Own the end-to-end creation of data products by designing / implementing ETL and ELT jobs to support
analytics products.
• Provide technical solutions ensuring quality, performance and scalability of the self-service analytics platform.
• Participate in development sprints, implement tests and automate when possible.
• Work as a trusted partner of a diverse group of stakeholders across Product Owners, Data Scientists, Developers and user areas. Propose and implement bespoke analytics solutions to address their business / technical challenges.
• Work in multi-disciplinary team to build data products that can tell data stories utilising classic BI tools (i.e. Qlik, Superset) or other dashboards technologies (i.e. Shiny, Dash, Angular)
• Educate a diverse group of data users to utilise ns4 and reporting tools, and enable self-serve analytics
• Establish periodic routines for Data Warehouse and Data Lake management to ensure data consistency
• Build data endpoints to connect applications and visualization tools to the data warehouse and data lake
• Ensure all assigned tasks are planned and delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner
• Propose improvements to the area as appropriate and solve problems
• Make quality and timely decisions within the operational technologies and data tasks under her / his responsibility
• Gather relevant data to inform the decision makers regarding complex issues
• Comply with all IT governance, standards and policies in practice in Hovione
• Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others)
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
• University, or equivalent, qualification in Computer Engineering or similar scientific field (mandatory)
• Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in automated control systems, preferably in
pharmaceutical sector
• Strong understanding and knowledge of databases technologies (SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Broad knowledge on Data Warehousing techniques and framework (e.g. SQL Integration Services,
Pentaho DI, Talend)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Apache Superset, R Shiny, Dash, etc. is a plus
• Basic knowledge in one or more of the following programming/scripting languages: R, Python, Node,
AngularJS.
• Fluency in English is a requirement
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
