Lead development of computer vision based solutions to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards
Scopes large, complex projects, identifying the right sources, methods, parameters, and procedures to be used; outlines and clarifies expectations with stakeholders; creates and communicates roles and responsibilities to stakeholders and team members.
Maintains expert-level knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies and applies it to projects as well as using it to guide team members
Responsible for influencing, leading the thought process, and defining the appropriate methodology for team.
Serves as a subject-matter expert in a specific area of specialization as well as a thought leader matters of data science
Works with business partners to scope assigned problems; translates business requirements into well- defined analytic approach and detailed project plan.
Educates others on current architectural standards and guidelines to drive efficiency when leading the design efforts of complex business and enterprise Data or Platform solutions
Represents the Data Science function to provide input and guidance into analytics roadmap; recommends process improvement across various functions of the enterprise by researching competitors and benchmarking industry best practices; participates with or serves as a member of advisory boards
Mentors and advises others in all ML development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in- depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
Solves complex cross-functional architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible;
Job Requirements
Requirements.
PhD with research focus in computer vision/image processing.
Over 10+ years of industry experience in building software application with minimum 3 years of exp in computer vision, image processing.
Publications in top tier conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICLR etc.
Strong math background and a proven ability to design & implement computationally intensive algorithms.
Hands on programming experience in Python, C++, Scala or equivalent languages.
Proficient in using machine/deep learning frameworks & libraries – TensorFlow, pytorch, Keras, OpenCV
Hands on experience in deep learning neural networks like CNN, RNN, LSTM. Working experience on image classification, object detection, tracking , segmentation, recognition, OCR etc.
