Digital Data Scientist


Experience: 3+ years

Salary: USD 2,625 - 3,000/ month (based on experience)

Expected Notice Period: 2 to 4 Weeks

Shift: IST Full Shift (10:30 AM to 7:30 PM IST)

Opportunity Type: Remote

Placement Type: Contractual

Contract Duration: Full-time, 12 months

Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Gathering:

  • Identify and collect relevant marketing data from various sources.
  • Explore and assess data quality and integrity.
  • Analyze marketing trends and patterns within the data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Determine appropriate data storage and retrieval methods to optimize data accessibility.

Data Source Identification:

  • Identify data sources and establish correlations between marketing efforts and market outcomes.
  • Use Google Analytics to track website and campaign performance.
  • Extract valuable insights from Google Analytics data.
  • Work extensively with digital marketing data, including online ad performance, website traffic, and social media metrics.
  • Analyze data signals to detect significant changes and trends.
  • Recommend actions based on signal analysis.

Data Handling:

  • Ability to efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Emphasis on data analysis rather than extensive data engineering.
  • Create data presentations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.

  • Experience working with datasets exceeding 1 million records.

Data Visualization:

  • Use charts, graphs, and visual aids to represent data.
  • Tailor your data presentation to the specific needs and knowledge level of your audience. Consider what information they find most relevant and how technical or non-technical they are.
  • Choose the right type of visualization for your data (e.g., bar charts, line graphs, pie charts) and keep them simple and uncluttered.
  • Clearly label your charts and graphs, and use annotations to highlight key data points or trends.


This Role Requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data structuring and navigation
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent in Data representation
  • Experience with GTM, Google Analytics and other digital marketing analytics platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
