Project Overview:
During the next 12 months (January to December 2021), we will support a large national company in the implementation of a program aimed at identifying, structuring and executing investment opportunities in projects and projects that allow the achievement of one of the defined positive impact goals. by the company for 2030: the restoration of 100,000 hectares of degraded forests and the conservation of 400,000 hectares of natural ecosystems in Brazil. The project will be structured in 4 main areas of activity: 1) carry out analysis of opportunities and recommendations for impacting business formats capable of generating restored areas, 2) construction of an executive plan such as details of financial mechanisms and organizational structures capable of executing impactful investments over the next decade, 3) strategic formulation and mapping of forest conservation opportunities through market mechanisms for forest carbon (REDD +) and 4) conducting PMO for proper implementation of activities carried out jointly institutional partners, generating a model that ensures the achievement of goals over the next 5 years.
Our team will be formed by the combination of a local team, based in São Paulo, and an Expert Advisory Board formed by international specialists from Palladium in the areas of inclusive growth, impact investments and environmental sustainability.
Profile
Professional seeking positioning in project management and complex initiatives, that demonstrates passion for generating positive impact. This person will be responsible for providing support to a small project office responsible for coordinating and integrating the execution of work plans from multiple organizations. He will be responsible for analysing contracts and building integrated work plans, checking and reviewing progress reports, building communication materials in direct language for internal and external teams, developing or adapting and applying a suite of tools for project management. We are looking for a professional with a high level of organization and structured thinking, who works well in a team and demonstrates a good relationship with actors from different backgrounds.
