As a data engineer, you will use your expertise to benefit the changing energy industry and will be closely involved in its dynamic and innovative evolution. In this role, you will take on responsibility and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to put forward and implement your own ideas and solutions.

What you will do

  • Bringing existing proof of concept data engineering pipeline to production grade
  • Maintain and further develop data warehouse
  • Expand infrastructure for data analytics workloads
  • Converting existing GUI-configured cloud infrastructure to a infrastructure-as-code-configured infrastructure (IaC)
  • Responsible for operation and availability of Hydro 4.0's cloud infrastructure

What you bring & who you are
  • Msc in Computer Science or related subject
  • Interest in software engineering (clean code, design patterns)
  • Good communicator in writing and orally
  • Python, SQL, terraform, Linux, Docker, devops, cloud knowledge
  • OPC UA experience or willingness to learn
  • Technical leadership of internal and external team members to achieve project success
