Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Python Data Analyst
In this role, you would be work closely with Research Analysts, technologists and data analyst teams to test, monitor, track and coordinate the resolution of data incidents.
Responsibilities
Monitor data pipelines
Analyze data quality reports
Perform data analysis
Track and triage data inquires / issues
Coordinate with technology teams and data owners to resolve data issues
Coordinate with technology teams to test and use data management systems
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
B.Tech/ BE/ MCA
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher learning institution required or equivalent combination of experience and education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Excel for data analysis
Python for data analysis
Experience with using data profiling tools to query data, identify anomalies, gaps and issues
Experience in problem solving and performing root cause analysis on data-related issues
Experience in data quality management tools/libraries
Experience working with data in various forms: files (Excel, csv…), relational databases, data warehouses, unstructured data environments (HIVE, Impala)
Experience with data visualization techniques
Exposure to financial concepts and terms involved in Researching and investing in Equity and Fixed income securities
Experience and/or exposure to financial market data; experience with datasets commonly used in investment Research analysis (both macro and Equity) preferred
Experience analyzing financial datasets for issues/anomalies
