Position Overview:
We have an opportunity for a Data Scientist to use your analytical skills to improve mechanism for processing data from Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). You’ll work closely with your client to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll use your talents to help visualize vast amounts of data, and when required, to write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help senior leadership make informed decisions. Your work will provide your client with a deeper understanding of their data, what it means, and how they can use it to enhance their mission objectives. Responsibilities:
  • 3+ years of experience in the data science or analytics field
  • Experience in working with machine learning, data mining, statistics, and algorithms
  • Experience with the analysis of data and creation of data-driven visualizations
  • Ability to create reports and present findings based on statistical analysis
  • Ability to develop persistent monitoring applications for statistical or machine learning processes using SQL, R, Python, SAS, or SPSS
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree in CS or a related technical field.
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess knowledge and experience in All-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in using analytical research tools, resources, associated equipment and software.
  • Possess knowledge and experience of the Intelligence Community, its primary members, the intelligence process, evaluation and analysis of intelligence data and capabilities, to include operational planning, collections and requirements processes.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in intelligence information flow and other governing regulations, including Intelligence Oversight requirements to insure a timely response to customer requirements.
  • Develops, coordinates, executes, and refines counterspace warning problems and associated indicators. Monitors and reports on adversary space and counterspace assets OR&D.
  • Develop pattern-of-life analysis on adversary space and counterspace forces and systems.
  • Current DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) mission, or other intelligence discipline
  • Experience with Tableau and SQL
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis certification
  • Tableau or SQL certification preferred
