Aptive is seeking a data science, statistical and analytics professional with SQL and VA Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) familiarity. This role requires support of a VA Medical Center (VAMC) Data Analytics Core (DAC), assisting investigators with various data requests, such as data extraction, RedCap database design and maintenance, and statistical analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level statistical analysis of complex data sets to support VA research studies utilizing recognized methods and software.
- Complete REDCap database design and maintenance with downstream analyses in mind.
- Assist investigators with various data analytic requests, such as data extraction, RedCap, data, and statistical analysis.
- Work collaboratively with research teams.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, and charts based on research, collection, and analysis of data.
- Find patterns in data and clearly articulate the entire analysis (e.g., methodology, results, assumptions, constraints) using various suites of tools.
- Transform and manipulate large datasets to suit the desired analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years of related experience.
- BA/BS degree in a related field of study.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with Veteran Affairs data (i.e., Corporate Data Warehouse).
- Experience using SQL and VA Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) for data analysis.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively navigate complex and ambiguous efforts.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
- Knowledge of military and Veteran populations.
- Ability to interact and engage with Executive-level stakeholders.
