Job Title: Group Audit - Regional Data Analyst

As Regional Data Analyst you will be a member of our Data Analytics (DA) Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Group Audit. You will pioneer and support Group Audit in implementing innovative and effective analytics processes that are critical to the success of our audit function. You will work embedded in audit teams around the world, applying the latest analytics technologies while connecting with the central team in Germany to leverage our core analytics solutions. You will be responsible for supporting all Group Audit functions with DA services and audit automation solutions.

Your key responsibilities:
Evaluate DA requests and work collaboratively with auditors, data owners and developers to deliver working solutions and analytics in an agile and iterative manner
Identify DA opportunities and use cases, liaise with audit / investigation teams, and perform any advanced or specialized analytics work
Identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that simplify audit processes and make Group Audit more efficient
Driving innovation across Group Audit, leveraging the experience gained and data collected from successful DA projects
Promote the adoption and integration of data science whilst applying highest quality standards
Your skills and experience:
Experience and full understanding of standards, methods and algorithms, Big Data (Hadoop, Spark); Data Preparation; Programming (Python, PySpark, Scala); Modelling Packages (Pandas, Spark); Process Mining / Process Analysis / Graph Analysis (e.g., Celonis); Reporting and Visualization (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib)
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience, ideally with experience and understanding in audit functions
Profound Knowledge and understanding of Python, Knowledge of React JS/SQL, container technologies and microservice architectures
International experience, coupled with a familiarity and full understanding of working within DA teams and applying data science techniques as well as developing DA and automation
Goal oriented and structured thinking with effective organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills
