Data Analyst (Cyber Security Group) - Remote

Cyber Security Data Analyst will be responsible for improving machine-readable data usability, designing and implementing product and service improvements across the Humana CSOC. The individual will assist in data analysis, ETL and data pipeline automation with the rest of the Cyber Data Analytics team. This is a highly visible position that will work across all segments of the CSOC.

Responsibilities

Data Analyst develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting. Creates reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Analytics, or related

• Experience with data collector agents

• Experience with Sentinel data connectors

• Experience with Log Analytics connectors / management

• Experience with Sentinel automation, orchestration, workbooks

• Experience with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) rtc.

• Hands-on experience planning, designing, creating, debugging automation

• 2 - 5 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field

• Ability to break down technical concepts, helping stakeholders/customers understand true business impact

• Ability to work collaboratively across a variety of business units to implement automation and orchestration

• Strong documentation, presentation, and reporting abilities

• Strong experience in security solutions and agile design principles/practices, DevOps methodologies/tools, and SDLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Sentinel, etc.)

• Proficient in Kusto Query Language

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
