As a Clinical Data Analyst at Health Gorilla, you will report to the Director of Analytics on the Product Management team. You will support our mission by providing insight into the clinical and related data we access, receive, process and deliver to our customers.
What you will do at Health Gorilla
- Establish data quality standards for incoming clinical data from multiple sources.
- Evaluate data quality and data performance metrics of our processing infrastructure.
- Profile data feeds against the standards we define.
- troubleshoot the origins of data quality issues when identified.
- Identify and document data mappings between systems and workflows for data engineering to implement.
- Provide analysis of clinical data and document the mappings to FHIR and other healthcare data standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and data engineers.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of data formats and standards used in healthcare integration messaging (HL7v2 C-CDA and FHIR).
- Clinical understanding to relate the data values to what is occurring in clinical care such as a Nurse, Nurse practitioner, or similar.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to write concise reports and specifications.
- Working knowledge of SQL is recommended.
