Is data your thing? Do you support the notion that if data is good, the day is good? If so keep reading.
Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.
We are looking to recruit an Asset Data Analyst, a newly created role in the Strategic Asset Management team. When talking about our assets we mean the homes, buildings and garages that make up our stock.
You’ll play a key role within the wider team to design, document and implement processes to ensure we’re obtaining quality data at the point of entry. You’ll continually monitor the data to enable assurances to be provided that the data is current, accurate and relevant. You will be that first line of assurance that we’re holding good quality data.
You will quickly become a subject matter expert on the asset data and this will make you a ‘go to’ person for colleagues, contractors and customers. So along with being great with data, you’ll also be a people person with the skills to adapt your message for your audience.
You’ll spend time working with system/data owners from the wider business making sure that the data being shared again is accurate and relevant and you’ll benefit from building really strong working relationships.
The team have short, medium and long term plans and you’ll be taken along the journey.
About You
We’ll say it again, but you’ll be all about the data. You’ll have demonstrable experience working with large data sets, scrutinising where things might not seem quite right and having productive conversations to get to the root of any inconsistences.
Your knowledge of Excel will be vast and you’ll be happy to share this knowledge to support your colleagues.
You will consider yourself a critical thinker, with excellent analytical skills.
Your work experience will include working in the social housing sector or in an asset management role. You will be an experienced user of asset management systems (PIMSS, Promaster, Keystone, Codeman etc)
You’ll have a strong understanding of reporting tools like Power BI and SQL
You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships and present information in a format that is suitable for the user.
