Job Type: Permanent

Location: Letterkenny, Ireland (2 days in a month from Office, as per business needs)

The Role

The ideal person for this role will be at the centre of analytical prowess, problem solving and management consulting. We are looking for all-rounders who can think out of the box on daily basis and can help solve business problems with the help of data. Majority of the role will involve problem understanding, data acquisition, data understanding, model development, model operationalization, stakeholder management and consulting

Your Profile

Key Skills/knowledge

• Expertise in statistical modelling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, generalized linear models, SVM, ensemble model (Random Forest, Xgboost), cluster analysis, PCA
• Expertise in the end-to-end model developments process
• Expertise in Hypothesis Testing and AB testing – design of experiments
• Exposure to deep learning within computer vision and natural language processing areas.
• Experience in solving business problems with advanced analytical solutions
• Experience in putting the statistical models into production and measure the impact
• Experience in working with structured data as well as unstructured data sources
• Strong Programming experience with SQL and Python/R and libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, stats models, TensorFlow etc.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and explain data to business managers, with fluency in Microsoft business applications (Word/PowerPoint/Excel

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics / Data Science in consulting space or with reputed organizations
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience with building and deploying machine learning models in a commercial setting.
