Segra is seeking a talented QUALITY CONTROL JUNIOR DATA ANALYST to be responsible for confirming the accuracy of Network and OSP inventory records within Netcracker by coordinating inventory ticket activity for record corrections, reviewing new inventory records to ensure standards are met, and assisting in the collection, prioritization and management of ongoing data cleansing projects. This individual must have a working knowledge of various telecommunication network and outside plant assets as well as general experience working with an inventory records systems. This individual must be highly organized and have strong communications skills as they will be managing activity with multiple functional teams across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Data Correction Coordination:
  • Administer and coordinate the completion of all Inventory Data Correction tickets processed through the ticketing system by confirming that tickets are appropriately assigned to the correct functional team and completed within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Prioritize and monitor the ticket que and manage the escalation process when data correction is required to meet the demands of the business.
  • Assist in tracking and managing projects as required to improve the quality of legacy network and OSP records in the Netcracker inventory system.
  • Monitor the Netcracker discovery and reconciliation process to verify that discrepancies are resolved by the appropriate functional team.

Data Quality Control:
  • Assist in the development and distribution of inventory QC KPIs to functional team managers to ensure data quality and accuracy in maintained in the the inventory systems.
  • Work with functional end users to ensure discrepancies are corrected in a timely manner.

Process Improvement:
  • Support INAM team members and functional SMEs with data and process analysis to improve the accuracy and quality of inventory data in both Netcracker and other integrated systems such as Dynamics, CRM/WFM, Billing and Customer Portal.
  • Participate in the identification and prioritization of system related enhancements that improve the overall accuracy and usability of Inventory data on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a general working knowledge of network equipment, OSP infrastructure and circuit design records. Knowledge of and skill in the use of telecom inventory and trouble ticketing systems. Strong communications skill across all levels of the organization. Ability to use Microsoft Office software is required to include email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Key Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communications skill across all levels of the organization, ability to work independently and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including email, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
