Data Scientist

emagine is seeking a Data Scientist to for our client in the pharmaceutical industry to help build comprehensive learning tracks for data science, tailored specifically towards R&ED scientists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for professional learning and upskilling, and a desire to improve the data science capabilities of others by creating effective training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop training content for Pharmaceutical Data Science targeted at Python coders in R&ED.
• Create training materials for various use cases as requested by the organization.
• Develop Jupyter notebooks for data wrangling of scientific data as entry points for statistical analysis.
• Participate in mapping internal training needs for machine learning in R&ED and contribute to the development of corresponding training materials.
• Help establish software engineering best practices.
  
  

Essential Skills:

• Strong interest in professional learning and upskilling, with a focus on enhancing others' abilities in data science.
• Familiarity with Datalab and other internal R&ED Python packages.
• Solid data science skills in Python.
• Knowledge of internal data storage systems (such as ELN or NNCD) is an asset.
• Familiarity with the ANNA library and other aspects of applied Machine Learning in R&ED.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data science-related issues.
