The student, as part of the Business Analyst (BA) team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake how data analytics can support to explore the potential improvement that we could deploy after analyzing data stored in manufacturing database.
In your new role you will:
- Work together with Business Analyst and key users to finalize use case to work on
- Support KPI monitoring reports maintenance work
- Perform data mining and cleaning for correct data fields
- Perform data preprocessing, exploratory analysis, selection of Machine Learning model, and then to perform data training and modeling
- Visualize analytical results
- Collaborate and communicate with key users to deliver insights and seek improvement
- Work with colleagues in different teams for the best result
- Support with documentation tools exploration
- Support AdHoc database query (SQL)
- Create internal articles to promote team activities
- Involved in organizing internal department's events
- Gain knowledge & practical skills in visualization ( Tableau ) and data preparation ( Python, SQL )
- More competent in communication and presentation with other business users
- Understand data in manufacturing setting and how data analytics is applied in the industry
- Deeper understanding about the semiconductor manufacturing process at Infineon
- Deeper knowledge about MES system (e.g. CAMSTAR )
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Background in Statistics/ Computer Science/ Business Analytics
- Analytical mindset
- Curiosity and desire to learn new things
- Good teamwork / communication skills
- Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
- Experience in using Basic SQL, Tableau, and Python Programming
- Experience in using Machine Learning Models
- Able to work from home (for hybrid work mode )
