We are looking for a hands-on, highly motivated and capable data scientist/analyst to work in Technology organization to support teams working on existing and next generation learning platforms. The data analyst/scientist will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, machine learning engineers and other data scientists provide data analytics support for all areas in Pearson’s learning products and technology operations.
Responsibilities
Build relationships with product teams, operational leads and technology teams to understand and prioritize reporting and analysis requirements and support product and technology roadmaps
Work with engineering teams to extract data, build analysis frameworks, establish OKRs & metrics that deliver insights on product technology operational efficiency and system reliability
Identify and execute process improvements and assist with automation projects for reporting and analytics in product and technology areas

Qualifications
BCS or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physical science, engineering, or a comparable related technical field
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-directed, self-motivated, with a strong capacity for working successfully and flexibly with members across the organization.
Experience manipulating data using SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience using statistical analysis techniques such as time-series analysis, multiple linear/logistic regression, anomaly detection, forecasting and simulation
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65-80K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
