About CGEn HostSeq Program
As Canada’s national facility for genome sequencing and analysis, CGEn leads a nation-wide Host Genome Sequencing Initiative within Genome Canada’s Canadian COVID Genomic Network (CanCOGeN) framework to sequence genomes of 10,000 Canadians to help understand the genomic architecture of the host response to SARS-Cov-2. CGEn is mandated to develop regional, national, and international linkages to ensure that the Canadian Government’s investment has maximal impact for the health of all Canadians.
Successful candidates will be part of a program that will have impact on population health and clinical relevance and will build up research resources for the science community for years to come.
Position Summary:
The Research Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigators on several research projects in the field of genetic epidemiology, including projects on infectious disease. Specifically, the Research Coordinator will be responsible for data management, statistical analysis, and research coordination.
