Description

SAIC is seeking a Tableau Data Analyst to support multiple teams in Lakehurst, New Jersey. This program supports engineering and technical services for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Support Equipment (SE) and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Department. The department is responsible for all systems and equipment used for launch and recovery of fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

This position is hybrid-remote and open to candidates local to the Lakehurst, NJ area. Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities Include

• Develop data visualizations and dashboards based upon client requirements
• Query, analyze and transform data sets from multiple file and database formats (flat files, excel, Oracle, SQL, etc.).to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to capture current data management requirements and objectives from multiple stakeholders
  

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
• At least 3 years of work experience with one or more years of related experience is required
• Must have experience in handling feed (many formats flat file, database to database, excels) development and processing across multiple networks.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, MS Project, MS Visio
• Understanding of Database Systems (Oracle, SQL Server, My SQL)
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  

Desired Skills

• Data Visualization Tools - experience with Tableau
• Active Secret clearance preferred
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server development (SQL Queries, stored procedures, schema, performance improvement).
• Working Knowledge of Transact-SQL
• Qlik Sense or other Business Intelligence (BI) visual data analytic tool
• Working knowledge of programming languages (JAVA, C, C++, C# etc a plus)
  

Target salary range $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
