THE COMPANY

A tech-startup specializing in real-estate digitalization is looking for a Data Engineer to make data driven decisions and to implement a new data-driven strategy for the company. The role will be highly technical within the BI Team, and aims to encourage stronger interaction and greater dynamics to the market through engineering solutions.

THE ROLL:

• Support the use of data-lake & big-data-architectures and machine learning in order to create an innovative consumer-focused business in an extremely data driven way
• Manage data workflows, pipelines, and ETL processes within AWS and support the BI team in using the data to solve business problems
• Own the schema and data models and ensure that data is accurate, accessible and understandable by all end-users in the BI team
• Develop visuals to explain data trends via dashboards and reports for strategic and operative decision making
• Implement and extend data lake to create a base for data analytics and machine learning models and workflows

YOUR PROFILE

• You have solid professional knowledge and hands-on experience building scalable ETL pipelines, and enjoy autonomously dashboarding and reporting within Tableau on behalf of the engineering team
• Especially good knowledge of SQL and Python, and data warehousing experience within Athena
• Experience with Business Intelligence and modeling/visualization tools
• You are excited by the opportunity use of cloud technologies such as AWS when building a new data pipeline and creating scalable data systems
