Job is for a Data Analyst who can analyze large and complex data sets to derive answers. This role is a analytical role for someone who is comfortable with Data Warehousing, Databases and raw data sets. Looking for someone who can understand large schemas and work towards reporting from requested datasets. This role will help us build better data products for various groups within our company who need to consume our reports and data to make better business and security decisions. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential Technologies:
Postgresql, Snowflake, RDS, S3, Splunk, Graphana, Tableau, JSON, Python.
We get requests for one-off or recurring reports from our systems, where we need someone to understand the requirements and build a DB query to accomplish the report. We have existing dashboards that are built upon a query that need modifications. The modifications would be different fields added or a constraint upon the data to narrow or widen the report data. We expect that the data will not always be in a format that is needed, so sometimes parsing json, csv, raw dataset may be needed to accomplish the requested goals. Accuracy of our data is critical and this role will be involved in generating multiple reports so that analysis can be done to determine errors in the data and reporting.
Requires 5-7 years’ experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role using the technologies listed or equivalents
BS or equivalent experience
Rate/Salary: $80-88/hr
