The candidate will handle data analysis and strategic communications planning to promote Singapore as a premier global hub port and an international maritime centre, and to advance and safeguard Singapore’s strategic maritime interests.
He/she will monitor and conduct data/statistical analysis of news coverage and online sentiments, and evaluate the effectiveness of MPA’s communications and engagement strategies based on qualitative and quantitative data. He/she will be required to deliver insights reporting and utilise visualisation tools to recommend sound communications strategies. The candidate will also be required to conduct timely focus group studies and commission public perception surveys with the end goal of harnessing data to improve the standing of MPA and Maritime Singapore. In addition, he/she will also help to cultivate key media influencers for the industry.
The candidate should possess at least two years of experience in data analysis and/or strategic communications. He/She must also possess an analytical mind, think strategically, and be able to handle pressure under tight deadlines. Having experience in data visualisation software such as Tableau will be advantageous.
