We are looking for a Semi Senior Data Scientist to join our nascent Buenos Aires team.This is a new role focused on the use of data and models to gain granular insight into digital media performance, support fact-based decisions, and communicate opportunities for improvement for MightyHive’s clients as well as our internal initiatives. The Semi Senior Data Scientist will help develop the team’s capabilities to develop bespoke client solutions. Using R and Rshiny to widen the company’s product offering and improve internal processes. Responsibilities include: Responsible for maintaining the inhouse R tools and Rshiny tools Research and develop new solutions based around the latest statistical techniques focused on marketing measurement and efficiency, Explore big data technologies to ensure the company can process and model large amounts of client data efficiently Explaining test-cases for senior management to potential new solutions Researching new visualization approaches using software such as PowerBI, Tableau Ability to support the wider team with econometric and machine learning techniques.

Communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. Proven experience of using R and Rshiny in a commercial setting Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills plus ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data. Relevant mathematics background including Statistics, Probabilities and Linear Algebra. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics or Economics. Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid startup environment.
