We're looking for two Data Analysts to join us in Manchester to help us understand how our customers interact with our food business; using these insights to advise decision making across Co-op. These two roles will each focus on different sources of data; with one looking at data from our food retail stores, and the other looking at data from our e-commerce platform. In these roles you'll work in a hybrid way - splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end analytics projects, using a wide variety of advanced analytics techniques
• Use statistical and modelling techniques to build segmentations, test and explore hypotheses, and predict future outcomes
• Share your findings in a way that is accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences, using tools such as Power BI
• Work closely alongside colleagues to understand their needs, and design data solutions that meet them

This role would suit people who have

• Significant experience working as a Data Analyst within a retail environment
• Experience writing and developing code using SQL, R, or Python
• Experience with linear and logistic regression modelling, segmentation, clustering, and correctional analysis
• Good communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience
