We are now recruiting a Data Engineer Intern reporting to the Data Innovation Lead at the French Affiliate.
Who are you?
You have a passion for data and math or engineering education with the desire to use these skills where they have impact. You are a team player and have good communication skills.
You are a student that have validated at least your 2 first years at University or Engineering School.

This role will be based at the Icade Business Park located in Rungis, Ile-de-France. The location is accessible from Paris with the bus 216, tram 7, or RER C.

- Strong Python 3 Engineer able to write reusable, testable and efficient code and coach others in doing so
- Knowledge of Palantir preferred
- You can build complex stacks, capable of giving advice to the other members of the team.
- You are interested in dealing with (big) data
- You can work in a fast-paced environment
- You feel interested in optimization problems and like to conceive performant stacks
- You can communicate clearly in English, including with non-technical people
- You are willing to contribute actively and have a real impact to the company success
By integrating AbbVie as a Data Engineer Intern, you will part of our BTS (Business and Technology Solutions) and the Data Team, your major responsibilities will include:
- Build tested, easily maintainable tools, stacks and architectures
- Convert prototypes into reliable products
- Provide technical support to Data Scientists during exploratory analysis
- Maintain and optimize existing products
- Work closely with Data Scientists to integrate and scale their algorithms
- Continuously provide ideas to improve products
