Client: NYPA (IT - 163) * *Position: Data Analyst Duration: 12 months Locations: New York Power Authority, 123 Main Street, White Plains, NY 10601 Project Overview * The Customer Digital Experience program (CDEx) is a critical step in supporting NYPA achieve its strategic vision of becoming the nation's leading end-to-end digital utility with a pillar of customer success. Supporting NYPA's 2020 Vision, CDEx will enable NYPA to efficiently deliver innovative digital value-added information and services to support its customers' and employees' success (the Project). CDEx is a lens for growing opportunities with current and future customers while recognizing NYPA's unique place in the New York energy marketplace. This program will help NYPA gain insights into their customers, identify what their customer's energy needs are, and determine how NYPA can best meet them by using digital channels to deliver solutions. Producing a great customer experience is the driver for CDEx and digital is the channel where CDEx will deliver solutions to our customers *Job Functions & Responsibilities *- Collect and document detailed data requirements and the data flows- Identify relevant data attributes from internal data sources and document inputs, outputs and associated source-to-target data mapping- Document key processes and workflows around data acquisition, integration, cleansing and monitoring- Investigate and validate data from different sources, checking for completeness & accuracy as well as analyzing patterns & trends in data- Identify data issues and assist in manual/automated data remediation efforts- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessarySkills *- Working knowledge of SQL, writing SQL queries- Proficiency in MS Excel- Good analyzing and interpretation of data- Knowledge on CRM (Customer relationship management) *Education & Certifications * Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Math, Statistics or related field or equivalent with around 6+ years experience in data analysis and interpretation Experience on any BI tool.
