As a data engineer senior on the Agency Business Intelligence team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data pipelines, and driving the integration of our data systems. You’ll work in an established team of business intelligence developers, data analysts and data scientists to solve technical challenges in cloud migration projects. You’ll also partner with other data engineers and data solution practitioners across the company ensuring the organization is leveraging the best data management practices and methodologies.


This is a remote position.


Must-have Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of two years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
  • In lieu of degree, minimum of four years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.


Preferred Skills


  • Knowledge and experience of cloud data technologies (i.e. Experience with AWS services - S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of Snowflake. Experience with migrating data into Snowflake.
  • Experience with cloud data transforming tools. (Snowflake DBT, Amazon Glue, Azure Data Factory)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with unstructured data.


Compensation


  • $102,500 - $132,000/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
