Role Summary
eClerx is looking for Data Scientists to work in the Centre of Excellence for AIML. Data Scientists will be part of project teams that are working on automation initiatives built on Machine Learning based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis to identify and solve business problems
- Assess quality of data, find data deficiencies and work around data availability challenges towards performing analysis
- Validate output of analytical models or machine learning based solutions, to be able to assess fitness for release to end users
- Delivery Management: Define, develop and implement successful project delivery strategies and programs in conjunction with all stakeholders
- People Development: Be directly accountable for developing team members that can provide technical leadership. Responsible for performance management and evaluation, career development. Manage hiring and readiness for employees in the organization
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+ years of experience of providing Software Delivery, Project/Product Management, Team Leadership for large and mid size corporate and overseas clients
- A thorough understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis and data mining techniques
- Experience in working with large structured and unstructured data sets
- Fluency in the languages of data manipulation (e.g. SQL) and statistical analysis (e.g. R or Python/NumPy),
- Natural Language Processing
- Machine Learning, Conceptual modelling, Statistical analysis & Predictive modelling, Hypothesis testing
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in delivering AIML projects
- Possess statistical, mathematical, predictive modelling skills to build the algorithms necessary to ask the right questions and find the right answers
- Ability to analyse business and process data to identify root causes, predict issues or forecast workloads
- Collaborate with business managers, Subject Matter Experts, technical resources to be able to conceptualize and develop analytical models
- Ability to successfully partner and communicate with all levels of an organization
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively both with IT, with business management and a demonstrated ability to influence and impact the business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge relationships resulting in successful partnerships
- Confident communicator; able to argue a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views
- Enthusiasm for learning & results oriented
