What will the apprentice be doing?
- Build up an understanding of the structure of data in the company business operating system and its im- portance to efficient business processes
o Become conversant with data requirements for:
- Suppliers
- Customers
- Items
- Costings
- Support and review the processes in controlling and updating the master data for the sections above to en- sure it is correct and clean, providing graphic representations highlighting the key steps and controls
- Understand the principle of user roles, their establishment and be able set up in order to maintain secure data systems
- Review existing and provide additional reports relating to the master data for the sections above to help drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Help set up data systems, provide analysis and present output from these data sources in other IT systems used as part of continuous improvement projects across the company e.g. Sharepoint
- Build dashboards using key data in systems for reporting to users
