What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Build up an understanding of the structure of data in the company business operating system and its im- portance to efficient business processes

o Become conversant with data requirements for:

  • Suppliers
  • Customers
  • Items
  • Costings
  • Support and review the processes in controlling and updating the master data for the sections above to en- sure it is correct and clean, providing graphic representations highlighting the key steps and controls
  • Understand the principle of user roles, their establishment and be able set up in order to maintain secure data systems
  • Review existing and provide additional reports relating to the master data for the sections above to help drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Help set up data systems, provide analysis and present output from these data sources in other IT systems used as part of continuous improvement projects across the company e.g. Sharepoint
  • Build dashboards using key data in systems for reporting to users

Things to consider

The position is based out of our facility in Amesbury, Wiltshire and is not suitable for Hybrid working. There may be the occasional need to travel to our offices around the U.K Valid full U.K. Driving Licence required.
