Requirements

Who you are:

• 6+ years of relevant Business or Analytics experience in a technology organization. You have a strong data architecture skill set including a solid grasp of database concepts and data logic.
• Extensive experience in BI tools helping the stakeholders play around the data
• You have a strong working knowledge of SQL and SQL Developer tools. Including the ability to data-mine, analyze results and make recommendations.
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify, and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance.
• You are data-driven. Make excellent decisions by evaluating the data received from multiple channels.
• You have a product-focused mindset. You have the passion and ability to contribute to the process of discovering what will delight our users and clients and push forward toward a vision of openness, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Willing to work at a startup with a fast pace environment that requires you to work long and flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the data team (1 data engineer and 1 data analyst).
• Create data pipelines to help facilitate the downstream creation of BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and algorithms to solve interesting business problems for users across.
• Apply fundamental machine learning models, advanced analytics techniques, and statistical methods to solve business problems.
• Develop a deep understanding of company data logging and data architecture in order to be able to assess the impact of new features.
• Translate findings into succinct, actionable business insights, often in coordination with partners who help you tell a holistic story.
• Assist in company projects and initiatives including defining requirements, developing test plans. Collaborate with multiple inter-departmental parties to develop project goals and to launch project and program initiatives.
• Work with internal partners, business sponsors, product managers, developers, and other teams to develop and review project designs and business requirements.
• Research the crypto industry understanding where it's headed and provide suggestions to the team.
