DATA SCIENTIST / ANALYST

MANCHESTER (hybrid)

£50,000 - £60,000 + benefits

The Company

This is a company that dominates their sector, working in debt financing and collections. They are well supported as a business and have been continually successful in their space. They are continuing to be data-driven and ensuring their business is powered by insights and analytics.

The Role

You will be:

• working on building and maintaining different statistical models in Python, be that for churn, forecasting, regression, prediction and propensity in relation to customer behaviour for collections strategies
• writing SQL queries for analytics into these behaviours and exploring to a deep and granular level
• using insights to inform strategies and find the key reasons why? behind the things you discover in your analysis
• liaising with stakeholders around the business to understand their needs and use data to inform their strategies for business operation optimisation
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

You will need:

• Excellent technical skills in SQL for analytics of large data sets and Python for statistical model building
• Experience in building and deploying analytical models from end to end
• Data visualisation experience in any tool to support insights with data
• Excellent communication skills for working with other teams and communicating with stakeholders
  
  

Salary And Benefits

• £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
