Position Overview:


Atrium's Senior Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics function for our AtriumWorks division. This person will provide reporting and analytical support to our program teams and clients by leveraging our tools and best practices. A Senior Data Analyst must be available to support client programs or team initiatives in many different capacities, including but not limited to the collection of multiple data sets, data summaries, maintenance and refresh of data for standard reporting, and auditing of data. The Senior Data Analyst should be able to execute job responsibilities with the understanding of how output would affect and impact other operational areas, with guidance from Leads or Managers.


Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst:


  • Compile, deliver, and track data used to measure overall program performance on fixed cadence
  • Provide analysis of business issues using internal data sources, trending analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Alert business stakeholders of any significant trends in the found in the data & business analysis.
  • Reconcile and manage data quality as necessary to resolve discrepancies and/or reconcile results.
  • Administer program operations reports (internal or client-facing) and produce corporate level reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Build and maintain program reporting catalogs, data dictionary, schedules, business rules and process documentation to support business continuity.
  • Manage a combination of regularly scheduled deliverables as well as ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Assist AtriumWorks Account teams in the maintenance or creation of business review presentations by providing the supporting data and visualizations.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of the design of the existing cloud-based tools Snowflake (data warehouse), Power BI + Bullhorn Canvas (data visualization)
  • Analyze existing and new data sources and new systems and tools to enable the teams to consume and understand data more intuitively
  • Create and validate test plans, test scripts and perform data validation


Qualifications for the Senior Data Analyst:


  • 2+ years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data transformation (Snowflake, SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Architect
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, and Power BI
  • Experience in the Human Resources field with a specific focus on People Data & People Data Engineering, Human Resources Reporting, and Workforce Analytics is required. Contingent Labor experience a plus
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and learning on the fly
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and flexibility to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Time-management skills and the ability to hit aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships with key individuals

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Bachelor's degree is required
