YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (f/m/d) to drive the data collection, analysis and reporting of metrics such as user insights from surveys, user behavior, and telemetry. Part of your responsibility will be to work closely in a consulting role with the product organizations.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Analyst (f/m/d) you are a strong team player with a holistic view, you are passionate for making sense out of data, building bridges across all SAP areas, and you are interested in the interplay of development, design and business requirements. You will be setting up and running data analysis topics and projects. In this role, you will significantly contribute to elevate SAP’s product experience by informing design and development decisions.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role and 2+ years of experience in project management
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g. Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required, Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus
- Experience with Qualtrics is a plus
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills
- Ability to track and report large data sets is required
- Ability to work independently and as an active member in a matrix setup
- Strong presentation, written & verbal communication skills
- You have advanced communication skills in English and German

SAP Design is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, User Researchers, Data Scientists, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The SAP Design team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design.
The Live User Insights team is part of the SAP Design organization and is responsible to provide data and insights that help to improve the SAP product experience. A core objective is combining user feedback data with usage, business value and product standard data. Analytical applications and scorecards will be the main tools for SAP Design and SAP’s product units, providing insights and supporting the decision-making process as well as informing the product portfolio.
