Job Description:

• You will be working with Principal Data Scientist as an individual contributor within research & innovation group.

• You should be proficient in Python (data manipulation, scientific computing, applied statistics, machine learning, and data visualization), in MySQL and NoSQL.

• You will work with wide variety of Visible Alpha’s commercial as well as operational datasets on both internal and client-facing projects. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization, build data analystics tool for the organization, communicate findings to diverse audiances.

• You will work on all parts of data science workflow; exploratory analysis of new datasets, create/monitor KPIs and build dashboards for the organization, build predictive models and work with engineers for deployment.
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a data science/analytics/engineering team, working on an end-to-end data project with deliverables.

• Communication skills, experience presenting findings to non-technical audiences.

• Familiary with financial datasets, equities market, fundamental research.

• Advanced degree in a computational field and/or independent research experience as a data scientist preferred.
