Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Control Platform Software, as part of Applications, Controls & Electrical.
Our department is responsible for developing and maintaining embedded low-level software stacks used in the control systems used across the whole portfolio of Vestas Wind Turbines.
The Control Platform department consist of a mix of highly skilled software engineers organized within three primary domains
- Monitoring Analytics & Diagnostics
- System SW (Framework, OS & Network)
- IO SW (Interfacing to Hardware Measurements and Actions)
Responsibilities
Your role as student worker will be to support a range of administrative and technical tasks within the department:
- Testing of software solutions and assisting in development
- Assist in developing Advanced Diagnostic features based on Machine Learning
- Documenting solutions
- Administrative Support in Excel and Power Point
Qualifications
As an ideal candidate you are:
- Pursuing education within data science, software development or electronics
- Basic knowledge and understanding of C++, C# and Python
- Experience working with MS office suite

Additional information
Your work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark.
You will be expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
