Data Engineer

What you’ll do:

Build an event based data solution that ties retail, logistical, and omnichannel data together. Create a data warehouse from events, and leverage OSS solutions such as Airbyte to sync data from SaaS applications. Support data integrations between applications and own data transformation and modeling layers in DBT.

What you’ve (probably) done:

• You have been a team player on a high performing data team and are determined to continuously learn and apply your knowledge of data to produce desirable business outcomes
• Built data solutions using GCP or AWS using containers, k8s, and/or cloud functions
• Created DBT models to product analytics grade data used in BI tools for reporting
• Worked with webhooks and asynchronous data processing platforms such as Pub/Sub or SNS
• Managed EL processes using solutions such as FiveTran, Stitch, Segment.IO or ideally Airbyte
• Excelled in getting data in front of decision makers and answered data backed questions
• Quality control and testing of data using tools such as BigEye or Great Expectations
• Worked on ecom, retail and digital marketing data domains
