Data Engineer

We are a leading investment firm focused on the non-fungible token (NFT) ecosystem. Our goal is to accelerate the emergence of the open metaverse. We are looking for those with a passion for innovation and the aptitude to work with leading-edge technologies to help pave the way forward. As a Data Engineer, you will help design, develop, and implement the firm’s data architecture and develop analytical products and services that will fuel core business functions.

• 3+ (5+ preferred) years experience designing and implementing technical solutions in a cloud-native architecture with an emphasis on AWS cloud technologies
• A deep understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and analytical data warehouses
• Experience implementing end-to-end solutions API-relatedated product consumption and delivery at scale, including familiarity with handling real-tevent-basedased solutions (i.e., WebSockets)
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python (preferred) or Typescript/JavaScript
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools and processes
• Experience with at least one large-scale data-intensive product solution (i.e., Hadoop, Spark/PySpark, or AWS ecosystem native)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Working experience with version control platforms e.g., Git/Bitbucket
• Degree(s) in computer engineering, computer science, or similar experience in developing complex data products or software solutions
  

• Experience working in a start-up culture or a trading/investment related environment
• Hands on work experience in the deployment lifecycle of machine learning related data products and systems
• Experience with BI/data visualization tools
• Experience in container-based deployment (Docker)
• Blockchain and/or crypto/NFTs experience
