This is an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist to work for a successful, global gambling group!

THE COMPANY

This hugely successful group are a well-established global business who have invested heavily in their Data function over the recent years. They have excellent backing from the CEO to drive this data & digital transformation to increase their online presence so they are looking to expand their Data Science team as part of that, particularly within their Marketing Function. You'll be working on building production-level machine learning models with the overall aim of improving the customer experience and becoming more personalised. As a Senior team member, you'll also be managing 1 direct report (no management experience necessary) so it's a great opportunity to take that next step in your career.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Scientist for the business you will:

• Provide analytical support to the Marketing Function
• Analyse customer data and marketing data looking at marketing spend, customer churn, attribution and all things marketing!
• Get involved in experimentation, running and analysing AB tests using Python and statistical analysis
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business to understand their business needs, turn them into technical requirements for the team and ensure projects are completed accurately
• Manage 1 direct report

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• PHD or Master's in a numerical or relevant field is preferred
• Proven experience working in a customer focused environment / in a Marketing team
• An excellent understanding of and experience with machine learning techniques
• Experimentation experience is essential
• Knowledge of model deployment is essential
• Tech: Python, SQL

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Basic salary £65,000 - £70,000
