A leading consultancy operating with the Insurance service industry
Job Description
- Lead and deliver use cases; develop data science solutions to business problems
- Identify opportunities or business problems where advanced analytics can be solved with data science; be a point of contact for data science projects and lead projects through to delivery, including meetings with stakeholders.
- Actively seek out new sources of data to use in all aspects of Pricing, making sure best in class in utilising the most expansive data sets available
- Take a hands-on role in supporting the Data Science strategy, in close collaboration and alignment with key business areas
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience as a Data Scientists or Machine Learning engineering roles
- Experience with the application of data science in a commercial environment, particularly in the development and release of predictive models that deliver outsized business performance
- Experience working with customer engagement data i.e. behavioural data, digital interactions, Life time value
- Extensive experience using SQL, R, Python, Spark etc to manage or analyse data & build models
