Academic Health Plans (AHP) is a leader in the student health care industry. As a QA Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in building a quality assurance program within our Technology department to ensure integrity of high-volume data transfers between our clients and trading partners. AHP is committed to client satisfaction and quality through innovative technology and automation. This position will be responsible understanding the complex business needs of our clients, analyzing data processing metrics, identifying and researching anomalies. You’ll have the opportunity influence quality control practices, tracking metrics and automations while working closely with our Client Experience, Project Management Office, Product Management and Integration teams.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop QA processes based on the intricate and diverse business rules of our clients
  • Perform quality assurance analysis on complex data from various sources and interpret results to determine accuracy of production records
  • Reconcile transactional data between universities, partners, and AHP
  • Independently research reported data issues, complete root cause analysis and recommend solutions
  • Understand complex data flows and business processes and assist in testing new data integrations
  • Provide proactive support to Client Experience, Account Team and Clients
  • Identify and drive areas of process improvement and automation to eliminate errors
  • Participate in ETL system and integration testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business IT Management, or a related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar Quality Assurance professional position
  • QA testing with an emphasis on data analysis and reporting experience
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office products
