Working Title: Lead Data Analyst - Research Scientist 3
The Lead Data Analyst will be the primary subject matter and technical expert of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Data and Analytics Office’s data, databases, data models, data management, and research and survey methodology. You will be responsible to lead the work of a team of data analysts, help implement the OIG data strategy, and expand the use of data to empower better decision-making, program compliance, and program integrity in partnership with OIG’s four divisions:
Other responsibilities and work will include:
3 years of specialized professional experience analyzing and reporting with data; performing spatial or statistical analysis and modeling; and managing data and querying databases.
Experience must include the following:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or area of study related to data sciences and data mining, economics, finance or other analytical fields may substitute for one year of experience.
