Position Summary:
As a Data Scientist at Vivun, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the AI / ML functionality of the Vivun SaaS Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and design interpretable prediction and recommendation models
- Leverage platform data and user research to create novel datasets
- Deliver AI / ML driven features that span backend services and front end UX in conjunction with the distributed engineering team
- Work effectively within a global team
- Maintain trust of our customers with security standards
Desired Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field and 4+ years of industry experience.
- Expertise with AI / ML algorithms for clustering, supervised and unsupervised learning
- Preferred experience with Natural Language Processing and graph-based models
- Expertise with feature engineering, data modelling and designing data concepts
- Coding experience with Python, Julia, or statistical languages
- Coding experience with SQL
- Familiarity with SaaS environments: building, deploying and operating software in production reliably
- Familiarity with deploying software with a container solution like Docker
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Familiarity with both real-time model serving and batch processing
