Data Analyst

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and talented data analyst to join the PD Data Solutions & Insights Team.
Reporting to the Assoc. Director, Business Operations, the Data Analyst 2 will have responsibilities that support the team's Reporting & Analytics, Visualization and Production Support functions. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to work collaboratively with peers. In this role, the Data Analyst 2 will help build standardized and ad hoc reporting, develop visualizations and help ensure that the team's systems and applications run smoothly.

Position Responsibilities:
Assists with collecting and transforming data into actionable information, developing more complex visualizations and communicating findings

Primary analyst on small, targeted projects

May support a more senior analyst on projects with a broad multidisciplinary or technical scope

Able to assemble data into coherent presentations

Production support: request intake, incident management, monitoring & escalation and basic troubleshooting

Position Requirements:
Competent at visualizing data using Tableau to build operational and executive dashboards

Accomplished at querying and manipulating data in SQL environments

Understands the principles of business requirements and data visualization

Intermediate MS Excel skills including pivot tables, data connections and PowerQuery

Be curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly

Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks

Have proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships

Good verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
