Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Mission

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our data infrastructure. You will work with our product and engineering teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will be a key member of our data team, ensuring the reliability, security, and accuracy of our data while identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

• Work with our data, engineering and product teams to understand data requirements and build data models that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, indexes, and queries that ensure data integrity and performance.
• Scale the performance of our backend systems and identify potential bottlenecks
• Develop our security best practices to protect our backend systems and data.
• Develop and maintain best-practices for our backend systems and data models.
  
  

Your Profile

You’ll be successful if:

• At least 4 years of experience in backend engineering and data modelling, or a related field.
• Experience with (Postgre)SQL databases and their associated technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing on AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Python & TypeScript. Bonus Points:
• Love shipping product across the spectrum of data products, internal tools, and user-facing apps. We're excited for you to bring that experience to Predium! Your background could include a lot of data science or ML work, as long as you also enjoy production engineering too. Our stack includes Typescript, Node, React, GraphQL and much more!
