We are seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join our team.

About the Role:

Imprivata’s data-science team seeks a principal data engineer. This engineer will architect and lead development of production AI inference pipelines. The ideal candidate will have mature polyglot architectural and coding skills for SaaS products and services, and will be familiar with the following tools and platforms:

• Python
• SQL
• R
• PostgreSQL
• Snowflake
• Athena (Presto)
• AWS Batch, S3, EC2
• Metaflow
• Terraform

Applicants should be comfortable architecting and leading development and maintenance of web-scale production (inference) pipelines for a variety of model types, including deep-learning and classical machine-learning and statistical models. Data parallelism of various kinds will be routine. The ideal candidate will routinely enrich the data-engineering team’s skills through standard setting, mentoring, and similar architectural activities. The role will work closely with our lead data scientists to determine how to scale models developed by the data scientists to workloads of many million events per day.
