Remote Senior Cloud Data Engineer Jobs

A U.S.-based company on a mission to regenerate the earth with scalable actions and technologies is looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of designing and implementing the cloud platform while supporting business priorities and product needs. The company is offering advanced robotics, climate, and agricultural solutions that have the power to change the world for the better. The company has managed to secure $3.8mn+ during their Seed round. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop clean, robust, and maintainable code
• Conduct unit tests and code reviews
• Assess and handle data requirements of relevant stakeholders
• Work with the engineering and the product teams to figure out what data is needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
• Extensive experience in Python, Node.js, and JavaScript
• Prolific experience in GCP and AWS
• Demonstrable experience in Machine Learning
• Nice to have experience in Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
• Experience in HTML and CSS
• Working experience in Robotics
• Prior experience in Cloud Serverless Arch and PostgreSQL
• Fluent in verbal and written English
