Sr. Data Engineer-Analytics
- Hopefully providing more tools from foundational, requires full AWS, within the context of Athena, Glue, Redshift (Database)
- Has the skills to work with analysts, convert business requirements to technical and implement that stack
- Translation of raw data into metrics via Analyst
- Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Requirements Analysis
Data Partnerships - look at databiz above.
- Owning that architecture, have a good team already, want someone who can outshine the team now.
- Hold their own, contribute and take leadership.
- Looking at pipe from where we get customer to where it goes to external customers.
Location
- Understands high volume data pipelines, knows how to convert that into actionable events - Cody is great at this - don't know if we can find location expert, but would be a great addition.
- Understands processing high volume data efficiently, knowing the AWS stack well - Kinesis, Lambda.
- Partnering on ingestion, getting data into core layer
Automation/Tooling
- Foundational technology - primarily focused on what's happening in databiz, but around test and release automation, potentially Jekins, AWS may have a set of release scheduling tools.
- Someone who brings a skillset around building test and release automation, enforcing better compliance.
- Someone who can drive this, don't have a rigorous release process, that will slow things down, unless you build tools that will automate some of this.
- Release & Test Automation
- May have to build multiple tools, foundation where the rest of the engineers can focus
- Biggest need for process is compliance testing - can't release data partnership pipeline without compliance testing.
- *Lambda is a key thing*
- Release & Test Management, Code Management
- Familiar with real-time streaming
